Rick Riordan has done it yet again! In this new demigod book series we learn about the gods of Asgard and their mythological stories. Like the Percy Jackson series and the Heroes of Olympus series, we see a demigod on an adventure to figure out who his godly parent is but this time, there's a twist. Riordan's pattern of big stuff going down on 16th birthdays still holds true. This time, however, Magnus Chase's journey starts off with him dying. There is only one narrator this time as opposed to his other works. Like Riordan's privious books, "The Sword of Summer" is presented in the 21st century providing humor and everyday events in a fantastical/modern world. This book will be loved by his fans and he is currently working on Book 2: The Hammer of Thor," which is set to be released sometime time next fall.
